Is there any way to specify a proxy server rather than the native network connection on the PC the software runs on?

There are no proxy settings for PlayOn currently.

I would also like to see proxy support for hulu, right now have to use 3rd party IP traffic mappers to deal with this. No reason hulu can't support native proxy support.

A http proxy setting for PlayOn would be a valuable setting for me. I have everything on my network going through a squid box. I make exeptions for sites like Netflix and Hulu to bypass the proxy. The more and more I use Playon for different channels/plugins, I find myself adding more and more exceptions. If PlayOn had its own proxy setting, I could tell it go direct, so I knew all of my streaming traffic bypassed the proxy.

Wanted to bump this topic because like awrightus, I too was attempting to get PlayOn to work through a squid proxy. No dice for me.
